Cambridge, Mass. - Freshman Kevin Crowley (New Westminster, British Columbia) was named the America East Player of the Week in men's lacrosse the conference office announced Tuesday for his play at Binghamton last week. It was the third time this season that he has been named to an America East weekly honor.

Crowley was a key to Stony Brook's 7-6 overtime win at Binghamton last week, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime that clinched an America East playoff berth for the Seawolves. For the game he totaled three goals, matching his previous season-high, with his two other scores tying the game after Binghamton had taken leads. After last this week's game with Hofstra, Crowley is second on the team in scoring with 22 goals and 25 assists.
